CERIS activity is organized into four Thematic Strands (TS) with a focus on those considered as the key global challenges for Civil Engineering and related areas:
They are anchored in national and EU policy documents, namely Portugal 2030, Europe 2030 and Horizon Europe. They have been selected to meet conditions set on scientific, technical and socio-economic relevance and on enhancement of international cooperation.
