Professor Amílcar Arantes Successfully Completes Habilitation in Civil Engineering

CERIS is pleased to announce that Professor Amílcar Arantes has successfully completed his Habilitation in Civil Engineering on April 20, at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST).

This significant academic milestone included the presentation and discussion of the curricular unit report titled “Project Management and Evaluation”, as well as the seminar “Challenges to Innovation in the Construction Industry: Insights from a Portuguese Perspective”. Both contributions reflect Professor Arantes’ extensive experience within the construction sector.

The successful completion of the Habilitation process represents a recognition of Professor Amílcar Arantes’ academic career, scientific contributions and commitment to advancing knowledge in civil engineering.
