On March 8th, researcher Ana Silva took part in a commemorative event of the International Women’s Day organised by Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (IPS). The event gathered women graduates from IPS discussing topics like the daily need to prove skills, the inevitable impact of motherhood on professional life, the need to question stereotypes, such as female “fragility”, to be loyal to one’s values, not giving in to social expectations, and, above all, the importance of never giving up on having more knowledge and skills, through training, at any stage and context of life.
