The award-winning work was “Definition of a methodology for the seismic assessment of complex masonry monuments” supervised by CERIS member Rita Bento. This work was developed within the scope of the study promoted by Parques de Sintra Monte da Lua and developed by the Instituto Superior Técnico entitled “Assessment of the seismic security of the National Palace of Sintra: identification of structural anomalies and vulnerability factors “(2017-2019).
