CERIS Seminar “Composite Aerostructures: Micro, Macro and Multiscale Analysis” by Volnei Tita

The seminar will explore the challenges of predicting damage and failure in composite aerostructures, highlighting micromechanical, macromechanical and multiscale analysis approaches, as well as recent advances in computational modelling.

🎤 Professor Volnei Tita, University of São Paulo, Brazil, and University of Porto, Portugal.

Professor Volnei Tita has extensive experience in composite aerostructures, with over 400 scientific publications. His research focuses on composite materials, structural analysis and damage prediction, with collaborations involving Embraer, the US Air Force and the US Army.
