CERIS Participates in DECivil Day 2026 Celebrating 45 Years of Impact

On 5 May 2026, the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment (DECivil) at Instituto Superior Técnico celebrated its 45th anniversary with the DECivil Day, held at the Técnico Innovation Center (TIC). The event brought together students, faculty, researchers, industry professionals, and partners for a day dedicated to knowledge sharing, innovation, and discussion on the challenges facing the cities of the future.

ERIS was actively represented throughout the event, with several of its members and collaborators participating in the programme. A highlight was the round table moderated by CERIS President, João Gomes Ferreira, where the discussion centred on strengthening collaboration between industry and academia, fostering an engaging exchange of ideas among participants.

The event was marked by a strong sense of community and collaboration, reflecting the dynamic and interdisciplinary nature of DECivil.

CERIS is proud to be part of this journey and celebrates this milestone alongside the DECivil community, looking forward to continuing to grow, contribute, and innovate together in the years ahead.
