CERIS researchers Jónatas Valença, Killian Morin, Nathan Jouen, Nathália Olivo, Marta Torres-Gonzalez, Maria Paula Mendes, and Ana Silva have been awarded the Second Prize for the best scientific article for the academic year 2023-24 (1st Semester). Their article, titled “Feeling-BIM: A Digital Model to Support Maintenance Decisions, Based on Automatic Inspection and Dwellers’ Feelings,” was recognized under the ´´VII Plan Propio de Investigación y Transferencia 2022-2025´´.
The VII Proprietary Plan for Research and Transfer of the University of Seville (VII PPIT-US) serves as the university’s primary framework to promote knowledge generation and its application for societal benefits. This plan, which marks twenty-five years of ongoing development, outlines the strategic approach of the University of Seville in advancing research and transfer activities. The awarded article, “Feeling-BIM,” presents the results of the CERIS seed project Feeling the City (UIDB/04625/2020) and exemplifies the innovative and impactful research that the VII PPIT-US seeks to promote.
