The Executive Board consists of the President of CERIS, the Coordinators of the research units and a representative of the Executive Board of DECivil. Its main role is to assess, assist and promote policies for cooperation.
The Scientific Council is formed by all members of CERIS. Its main role is to decide on the policies of the Executive Board in relation to the identification of thematic strands and on all matters related to strategy, as dictated by the mission and objectives of CERIS.
The Coordinating Committee consists of the Coordinators of the founding units and the Coordinators of the Thematic Strands and is chaired by the President of CERIS. Its main role is to assess and assist the implementation of on-going research contracts and the seeking of new opportunities and contracts.
The External Advisory Committee consists of well-known scientists and representatives from industry with recognized knowledge and experience of the challenges faced by similar institutions. Its main role is to periodically assess the quality and the relevance of the scientific activity of CERIS, as well as to advise on strategic planning and provide long-term perspective.
