“Experimental Testing and Numerical Modelling of Precast Structures”

Anđela Čavčić is a Teaching and Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the University of Split, Croatia, specialising in structural engineering, numerical modelling and experimental testing.
The presentation explores the behaviour of connections in prefabricated reinforced concrete structures, combining numerical analysis and experimental testing, with a focus on seismic performance and dry mechanical connections.

“Laminated Glass Structures: Numerical Modelling and Experimental Characterisation”

Dr Gabrijela Grozdanić is a postdoctoral researcher and Senior Assistant at the University of Split, Croatia, specialising in laminated glass structures, computational mechanics and fracture modelling.
The presentation explores numerical methods for analysing laminated glass structures, focusing on fracture behaviour and the time- and temperature-dependent response of polymer interlayers, and presents a multiscale finite element model combining global structural response with localised glass fracture.
