CERIS will host a Pizza Seminar titled “Convergence of Environmental Microbiology and Civil and Environmental Engineering” by Researchers Ricardo Santos (CERIS, LAIST, Instituto Superior Técnico) and Sílvia Monteiro (CERIS, LAIST, Instituto Superior Técnico). This is an opportunity to get to know the work of the two newest members of CERIS. The talk will discuss the interaction between the fields of Microbiology and Civil and Environmental Engineering. Sanitation, waste materials and biodeterioration are some examples of topics expected to be addressed. The Pizza Seminar will take place on September 26, 2023, at 12 p.m., in the DECivil Museum (Civil Engineering Building, ground floor).
