On October 19th, CERIS has promoted the 2021 CERIS Day Out which took place outside IST (specifically, Monsanto, in Lisbon), in an informal environment, in order to contribute to the conviviality within the CERIS community and thus strengthen their identity.
The program of the initiative was diverse in outdoor activities, including oral presentations and playful actions, fundamentally team building.


CERIS – Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability – is an FCT-registered research unit operating in the Civil Engineering area. It is hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Georesources (DECivil) of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon (ULisboa).


The research staff of CERIS works in diverse and complementarity scientific areas, which offer an engaging and dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
