CERIS is proud to announce that Professor Inês Flores-Colen, CERIS researcher and faculty member at the DECivil of Instituto Superior Técnico, was invited to participate in a high-level expert panel discussion during the 17th International Conference on Durability of Building Materials and Components (DBMC 2026), held in Montréal, Canada.
The panel discussion, held on 22 July 2026, brought together leading experts from Canada and across Europe to examine the practical and scientific pathways for integrating durability, resilience, sustainability and decarbonisation into the next generation of building materials, retrofit solutions and performance-based standards.
As one of the world's leading conferences dedicated to the durability and performance of building materials and components, DBMC 2026 provided an international platform for dialogue on the future of sustainable construction and the built environment.
