CERIS at Técnico Innovation Summit 2026

On February 3, 2026, more than 1,500 visitors gathered at the Técnico Innovation Center for the 2nd edition of the Técnico Innovation Summit — a full day dedicated to science, technology, innovation and technological entrepreneurship.
The event brought together research units, spin-offs, partners and stakeholders from across the innovation ecosystem, highlighting how scientific research is translated into real-world impact through technology transfer and collaboration.

Participants had the opportunity to explore a wide range of projects developed at Instituto Superior Técnico, discover groundbreaking prototypes and engage with the vibrant network of research, industry and innovation partners. The summit featured exhibition spaces, demonstrations and interactive discussions that reflected the depth and diversity of Técnico’s innovation ecosystem.

We extend our thanks to all the visitors, students, professors, researchers and companies who visited CERIS and the Innovation District throughout the day. A special thank you to everyone at CERIS for their dedication to EXCELLENCE and for helping make this event a success.
