Final workshop of the EcoMortar 2.0 project

On September 30, 2025, the DECivil Museum at Instituto Superior Técnico hosted the final workshop of the project EcoMortar 2.0.

EcoMortar 2.0 was funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships programme. Over the past two years, the researcher María Concepción Pacheco Menor, based at the Instituto Tecnológico de Rocas Ornamentales y Materiales de Construcción (INTROMAC) in Cáceres, Spain, conducted her research activities at CERIS, Instituto Superior Técnico. The project was supervised by Professor Jorge de Brito, with the close support of Professor Inês Flores-Colen.

During the workshop, María Concepción Pacheco Menor presented the main results achieved throughout the project. Professor Inês Flores-Colen highlighted the dissemination and exploitation actions carried out, while Professor Jorge de Brito provided an overview of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships scheme, placing the EcoMortar 2.0 project in a broader context.

The event concluded with a warm farewell to María Concepción Pacheco Menor—Concha, as she is known among colleagues and friends. CERIS extends its best wishes for her continued career at INTROMAC and looks forward to future opportunities for collaboration.
