CERIS researcher Eloi Figueiredo in collaboration with Stanford University is set to host a one-day, in-person short course on Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) for bridges and special civil structures. The event will take place on September 8, 2025, just before the International Workshop on Structural Health Monitoring (IWSHM) 2025.
The course will last for six hours and provide participants with valuable hands-on experiences in SHM technology, aimed at enhancing the structural integrity and safety of critical infrastructure. This course offers a unique opportunity for professionals and researchers to gain practical knowledge in a field essential to modern civil engineering.
The event will be held on Stanford University’s campus in Palo Alto, California, bringing together experts and learners in an interactive setting.
