Maria Idália da Silva Gomes

Assistant Professor

Maria Idália Gomes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at ISEL/IPL. She received a PhD in Civil Engineering in the Specialty of Construction Sciences at FCT/UNL. At this moment she is a member of coordinating committee in LEC at ISEL. The research field embrace construction products with low embodied energy , conservation and durability. Advisor and co-advisor of several master's theses with works already completed. She has participated in research projects in the field of sustainable construction, and has published a significant number of articles in international and national journals and congresses. She collaborates with the technical standardization committee in the area of ​​building sustainability "Standardization for integrated assessment and communication of the sustainability of buildings, considering performance throughout its life cycle". Consultant nZEB- SouthZEB Portugal. Co-financed by the European Union's Intelligent Energy Europe program. She is a member of the research center CERIS-Civil Engineering for Research and Innovation for Sustainability, the association IASA-Institute for Advanced Studies and Awareness and the Association CdT, where she is a member of direction board.
