Maria Idália da Silva Gomes
Assistant Professor
Maria Idália Gomes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at ISEL/IPL. She received a PhD in Civil Engineering in the Specialty of Construction Sciences at FCT/UNL. At this moment she is a member of coordinating committee in LEC at ISEL. The research field embrace construction products with low embodied energy , conservation and durability. Advisor and co-advisor of several master's theses with works already completed. She has participated in research projects in the field of sustainable construction, and has published a significant number of articles in international and national journals and congresses. She collaborates with the technical standardization committee in the area of building sustainability "Standardization for integrated assessment and communication of the sustainability of buildings, considering performance throughout its life cycle". Consultant nZEB- SouthZEB Portugal. Co-financed by the European Union's Intelligent Energy Europe program. She is a member of the research center CERIS-Civil Engineering for Research and Innovation for Sustainability, the association IASA-Institute for Advanced Studies and Awareness and the Association CdT, where she is a member of direction board. |
