Luís Miguel de Amorim Ferreira Fernandes Nunes
Assistant Professor
MSc in Geostatistics and a PhD in Engineering Sciences (environmental modeling and monitoring) from the IST – Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in Lisbon. His areas of interest are environmental monitoring optimization, subsurface modelling, soil remediation, risk assessment, environmental impact assessment, water resources management, optimization in engineering processes. He has been the scientific coordinator of several research and development projects in the area of groundwater monitoring, remediation and water resources management. These projects have been financed both by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and by private firms. Is author of over one hundred scientific texts.
