João Delgado

Scholarship

João Delgado graduated in Civil Engineering with focus on Hydraulics and Water Resources from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa in November 2013. He started working as a researcher and consulting engineer in pumped-storage hydropower projects in IST. On September 2014 he enrolled in the H2DOC – Environmental hydraulics and hydrology – doctoral programme between IST and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. He is developing his doctoral studies in the thematic of energy recovery in water supply systems using pumps as turbines.
